End-of-Grade and End-of-Course Tests
During the school year, students take various tests required by the N.C. Department of Public Instruction. These tests include end-of-course and end-of-grade tests for students in grades 3-12.
End-of-course tests for grades 9-12 are administered twice a year – at the end of the first semester in December and at the end of the second semester in May. End-of-grade tests for grades 3-8 are administered in May.

The SAT (Scholastic Assessment Test) is administered by the College Board and used by colleges and universities during the admission process. The SAT is offered at locations in the èAVƵ County area on the following dates:
